PONDER
Think about something carefully,especially before making decision

  • I pondered the quest of what clothes to wear for the ocassion.
  • She sat pondering about her problems.
  • The man went mad as he ponders the silly matter all day.

SPURN
reject with disdain or contempt

  • He spoke gruffly,as if afraid that his invitation could be spurned.
  • Asman tried his best to flirt on that pretty girl with words so that he'll not been spurned.
RECTITUDE 
morally correct behaviour
  • Mattie is a model of rectitude.
  • A person with rectitude creates wonderful appearence and ideas.
PLAGUE
a contagious bacterial disease,any contagious disease that spreads rapidly and kills many people
  • Diseases like smallpox wiped out the indigenous people in a succession of plagues.
SOLACE
comfort or consolation in a time of great distress or sadness
  • She sought solace in her religion.
  • The soundlessness of nature impressed and solaced her.
  • Asma's husband solaced her with courages after she's hurt with the harsh words said by her employee.
