SCRAPE [verb]
Drag or pull a hard or sharp implement across a surface/remove dirt or other matter
  • Ani scraped the mud off her shoes with the edge of a stone.
  • Kamal is scrapping the heavy axe towards his father to cut down the tree that might timber anytime.


CRESTFALLEN [adjective]
Sad or disappointed
  •     She could tell by his crestfallen expression that what he told is not what he really meant.
  •     Crestfallen feeling due to the previous quarrel had put her down up to 3 weeks.
