MID-TERM EXAMINATION (4.0)

1.ANTIQUATED (adjective)

Old-fashioned
~ Aunt Mary had antiquated notions about marriage,believing that a man should a women for at least a year before receiving a kiss.

2.SURLY (adj)

Inclined of anger
~ Every morning,Bahvin was a surly, unhappy person but once he ate his breakfast,he become loving  , happy and a joy to around.

3.PATRONIZED (verb)

Treat condenscendingly
~ she says she genuinely wanted to help me , but instead she patronized me, constantly pointing out how i was inferior to her.

4.DEMEAN (verb)

To insult; causing someone to lose dignity or respect
~ Amran could still hold the harsh word from Imsar but on a prticular day the demeaning stopped as Imsar was bashed up on his dirty mouth.

5.EXASPERATE (verb)

To irritate intensely
~ As a child, I exasperated my mom with strings of never-end questions.
